There's A Better Way To Lead

We often believe knowledge leads to action. And yet, on too many occasions I’ve
found that this just isn’t true.
In studying the science of behavior change and in my direct work with thousands
of individuals, I discovered what works to spark habit formation in someone’s life. I
also uncovered something about myself: a passion for helping people unlock their
potential. I got hooked on serving others and was on the lookout for a way to make
the most significant impact.
I didn’t have to look far. When I observed what businesses were doing to engage
their people, I saw quick promotions, unlimited vacation days, free LaCroix and
beer on tap and I knew they were missing the mark. None of these shiny solutions
lead to a lasting impact. The single most important factor impacting an
employee’s experience at an organization is their manager.
Yet, most managers are promoted because they are high performers or because
they’ve been around the longest, not because they are great leaders of people.

I founded Raise The Bar to change this dynamic – and to transform the manager
role by empowering each manager with the tools, skills, and habits to be better
leaders of people.
And it’s not enough for a manager to know what it takes to be a leader. It’s about
moving from knowledge to action and adopting the habits of a leader. This takes
commitment, intentionality, and practice. Our team is here to support, coach and
challenge you on your journey.
